Velos Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates dossier.ninja, an AI-powered job intelligence platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account registration information (name, email address) — collected via email magic link, Google, or Apple sign-in
- Resume and career data you upload — used to match you with jobs and generate AI analysis
- Job preferences, target roles, and location preferences you set in your profile
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe on the web, Apple's App Store, and Google Play for in-app purchases; we do not store card numbers)
- Purchase and credit transaction history (credits purchased, subscription status) — payment card details are handled by Stripe, Apple, or Google and never stored by us. For in-app purchases, we store Apple's transaction identifiers and Google Play purchase tokens to process subscription renewals and cancellations
- Communications you send to our support team
We also collect certain information automatically when you use our service:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
- Product interaction data (features used, reports generated, jobs viewed)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies for session management and analytics
How We Use Your Information
- To match you with relevant job openings based on your resume and location
- To generate AI-powered job briefings, company reports, interview dossiers, and fit scores using your resume and preferences
- To process transactions and send related information (receipts, subscription confirmations)
- To send service-related communications (daily briefing notifications, account notices, policy updates)
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
AI Processing
dossier.ninja uses large language models (LLMs) to analyze your resume, generate company research, and produce interview preparation materials. Your resume and career data are sent to these AI models solely to provide the features you request. We do not use your resume or career data to train AI models, and we do not share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or any third party for tracking or advertising purposes. We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, AI model providers), under confidentiality obligations and only as necessary to perform those services.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Velos Ventures LLC or others.

Data Retention
Your account information, resume, and job-search preferences are retained for the lifetime of your account. AI-generated outputs — daily briefings, company reports, interview dossiers, and fit scores — are automatically deleted after 90 days.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile page (Danger Zone section). Deletion is immediate and permanent. You may also contact us at support@velosventuresllc.com for assistance.
Device Storage
The iOS app stores form draft inputs (such as company names and job descriptions) in the device Keychain, encrypted at rest by iOS. The Android app encrypts form drafts via the Android Keystore. Authentication tokens are stored securely by the Supabase SDK on both platforms. All locally stored data is cleared when you sign out.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can delete your account and associated data directly from the Profile page. For other requests, contact us at support@velosventuresllc.com.
Cookies
dossier.ninja uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication session management and analytics. You can control cookie settings through your browser; note that disabling cookies may affect login functionality.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us for prompt deletion.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy here with a revised effective date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
