Refund Policy
dossier.ninja is a digital software service delivered immediately upon payment. Because of the instant nature of digital delivery, all purchases are generally final and non-refundable except as described below.
Monthly Subscriptions
Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing cycle and cover access to the service for that period. We do not issue refunds or credits for partial billing periods after a charge has been processed.
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancel your subscription before your renewal date. See the Cancellation Policy below.
Pay-Per-Use Credits
Credits purchased for pay-per-use features (e.g. company reports, interview dossiers) are non-refundable. Credits do not expire and may be used at any time while an active subscription is held. Unspent credits are forfeited if your account is deleted.
Exceptions
We will issue a refund or service credit if a technical error on our part caused an incorrect charge or prevented access to a paid feature. Please contact us within 30 days of the charge for review.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time, with no early termination fees or penalties.
How to Cancel
- Self-service: Cancellations can be completed from the Billing page in your account settings.
- By email: Email support@velosventuresllc.com and we will process your cancellation within one business day.
When Cancellation Takes Effect
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the service until that date. We do not issue prorated refunds for the remaining days in a billing cycle after cancellation.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page (Danger Zone section). Account deletion immediately cancels any active subscription — no pro-rated refund is issued for the remaining billing period. Any unspent credits are forfeited and are not refundable. All account data is permanently removed.
Data Retention Policy
Your account information, resume, and job-search preferences are kept for the lifetime of your account.
AI-generated outputs — daily briefings, company reports, interview dossiers, and fit scores — are automatically deleted after 90 days. Any material change to the retention period will be communicated via an updated Privacy Policy.
Dispute & Chargeback Policy
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and to your satisfaction.
How to Dispute a Charge
- Email support@velosventuresllc.com with your account email, the date and amount of the disputed charge, and a brief description of the issue.
- We will review and respond within 5 business days.
- Disputes must be submitted within 30 days of the charge.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider without first contacting us, your account may be suspended pending investigation. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks that we determine to be inconsistent with this policy.
